Tips to Avoid Document Rejection

  • Use Aadhaar as your primary document — it covers age proof, address proof, and is needed for online authentication
  • Scan documents using a scanner app (CamScanner, Adobe Scan) — not a regular phone camera
  • Make sure all four edges of the document are visible in the scan
  • Text on the document must be readable when zoomed in — no blur, no shadows
  • Name and date of birth on all documents must match exactly what you enter in the form
  • If your address recently changed, update Aadhaar first (online via UIDAI website), then apply
  • Keep file sizes within limits — use online compressors if needed, but don't reduce scan quality
